Moneymakers mark golden date

Dave and Adele Moneymaker of Uniontown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 28 with a family gathering at Moscow’s University Inn.

Dave Moneymaker and Adele Mustard were married Jan. 4, 1964, at St. Gall’s Catholic Church in Colton.

Dave grew up in Uniontown where he attended elementary school.

He graduated from Colton High School in 1961.

He farmed, worked at the McGregor Company, Pacific Fruit and was employed as a union carpenter on many local projects including Lower Granite Dam.

He then worked for Busch Distributors for 25 years until he retired in 2005.

He is a member of the Uniontown Knights of Columbus and his hobbies include fishing, projects around the house, gardening and volunteering.

Adele grew up in Colton where she attended elementary school and graduated from Colton High School in 1963.

She worked at Washington State University in the controller’s office and the College of Agriculture business office and retired in 2008 after 32 years of service.

Her hobbies include volunteering at their church and in the community, reading and baking.

They enjoy spending time with family and attending the extracurricular activities of their five grandchildren.

They also like to travel and go camping.

Hosts for the gathering were children and spouses, Brenda Moneymaker of Spokane, Jim and Kathy Moneymaker of Spokane, Rodger and Jaci Moneymaker of Uniontown and Donna and Ben Wolf of Uniontown.
