Reardan, Springdale top Bulldogs in league tilts

Colfax boys over the weekend sustained two more league losses to drop in the NE standings. The Bulldogs finished the weekend with a 5-6 mark in the league for fifth place in the standings.

The two losses extended a string of four straight defeates in the NE league race. Tuesday, the Bulldogs bounced back to the win side with a 70-57 non-league win over a big Waitsburg/Prescott club at Waitsburg. The Bulldog put together three strong quarters and fought off the Cardinal charge in the last frame.

Brent Becker hit 29 in the win over the Cardinals with an 11-11 mark at the toss line.
