Colfax High School student Christopher Koenig, right, served as a legislative page in the Washington House of Representatives during the first week of session.

Koenig, 16, is the son of Heidi and Mike Koenig of Colfax.

Each year, students from across the state participate in the legislative page program.

In one week, students observe the inner workings of the Legislature and are responsible for delivering documents to legislators and staff throughout the Capitol campus.
