Student art show, program set for library

The Rural Alliance High School Art Show will return to the Colfax library Feb. 1-13 during open hours. The event will be sponsored by the library and the Colfax Arts Council.

This art show will feature a two-week exhibit of the creative works of 120 high school art students and a special program at the library.

A public opening recepton will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 3 at the library.

A Colfax Arts Council “Meet the Artists” program Thursday, Feb. 6, at 7 p.m. will feature seven student artists who will speak briefly about their artwork, inspirations and aspirations.
