Sewell paintings

set for Dahmen

An exhibit of paintings by Andy Sewell of Viola will be at Dahmen Barn through March. Sewell has been painting the Palouse in watercolor for more than 20 years and has now expanded into oil painting.

At a reception Thursday, Feb. 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. he will give away six prints of his newest Palouse painting “Palouse Red and Green” to the first six people in the door.

Born in Washington, he moved with his family to Ketchum/Sun Valley, Idaho.

In 1989, he graduated from the University of Idaho, with a fine arts degree in graphic design.
