Win in district opener leads to Bronco bout 3

Colfax girls Wednesday were headed to game three with the LRS Broncos after winning their first-round game at the district tournament at Mt. Spokane High School.

The Bulldogs, number-two finishers in the league race, hammered seventh place Mary Walker of Springdale 47-28 Monday.

Lind/Ritzville/Sprague, the number-three team in the league finish, defeated Liberty Monday.

The results mean Colfax and LRS, who split in two rounds of league were booked to collide again Wednesday night at Mt. Spokane.

Friday in their home court finale, the Bulldogs booked a 45-36 win over Lind/Ritzville/
