Snow hills

A tranquil blanket of snow covers fields and vast rolling hills near Mike Johnson Road off of Highway 272 east of Colfax Feb. 5. Deeper snows came later as snow piled up around the county over the weekend. Warmer temperatures and sunshine this week reduced much of the snow.
