MAYOR: STATE WILL GET BILL

Mayor Todd Vanek Monday vowed the state Department of Transportation will get a “hefty bill” for the flood damage and cleanup sustained by Colfax in the Feb. 12 downtown flood. He said initial contact with state officials when the flooding started drew scant response from DOT crews.
