Uniontown sausage feed celebrates 61st year

At left, Linda and Scott Becker handle the homemade sausage with care at the Uniontown Sausage Feed Sunday. Organizer Ken Oenning said he was worried when the community building was virtually empty first thing Sunday morning, but after the roads improved, the crowds came in droves. He said after counting tickets that 1,350 people were fed, which is an average crowd. He said they served about 1,200 pounds of sausage. Below, the crowds enjoy the meal.
