Honor band, chorus perform in Colfax

Students in the SE Washington Honor Band and Honor Chorus filled the Colfax High School stage for an hour-long performance Monday night. The students arrived at about 10 a.m. and practiced for the concert until about 4 p.m.

Al Gemberling from the University of Idaho (seen in top photo) directed the honor band, and Lori Wiest from Washington State University directed the honor chorus.

Col. Gregory Cain, WSU Air Force ROTC commander, participated in the honor band’s rendition of “Each Time We Tell Their Story” which was a tribute to military veterans.
