Palouse Scenic Byway panel discusses kiosk sign project

The Palouse Scenic Byway Committee met Feb. 24 in Colfax and discussed the signs for communities along the byway.

The stands for the kiosk signs are included for towns which were listed on the application for the grant which funds the project.

The design is done, and the next step is to get bids for the signs and sign holders which will be done in the next couple of months.

Tim Myers, county parks director, is working with three additional communities to see if there are any options for them. The project should be finished by the end of summer, he said.
