Tax bills top $48 million

Whitman County Treasurer’s office recently mailed out tax statements to registered property owners. The total amount of taxes due is $48,069,512. The tax statements were on 37,901 parcels of property listed in the county and the mailing totaled approximately 14,000 envelopes with many of the bills including multiple parcels.

Deadline payment for taxes again remain April 30 for the first half and Oct. 31 for the second half.
