St. John
St. John Historical Society and Heritage Museum will hold its fourth annual crab feed. Saturday, April 5, at the St. John Community Building. Tickets are $25 per person and take out is available at 5 p.m. This year’s proceeds from the crab feed will be used for the design and construction of an exhibit honoring our veterans and POW’s. April is the yearly membership drive, if you are interested in joining please stop at City Hall and pick up a form.
Spring sport sign-up is March 27 at the St. John baseball field at 6 p.m. Parents need to attend to fill out required forms, if unable to attend please contact Amy Swannack.
The St. John Country Cuzzin Garden Club invites all to attend a slide show from Dr. Dan Logan at the St. John Methodist Church today, Thursday, March 20, at 2 p.m. Dr. Logan will share Birds of the Canary Island and Flora of Spain. Admission is free.
The Christian Life Assembly senior luncheon will be today, March 20, at 11:30 a.m. On the menu this week is corned beef and cabbage. This is a no-cost luncheon.
The fair books for the St. John Community Fair are now available at the St. John City Hall. This year’s theme is Rock the Stock. The fair kicks off April 24 and runs until the April 27.
The mammogram bus will be in St. John on March 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They accept most insurance plans.
T.O.G and the Nile are teaming up once again for their spring style show and luncheon, May 3 at 11 a.m. at the St. John Community Building. There will be prize drawings as well as items to bid on.
