District Pinewood Derby winners

The annual Cub Scout district Pinewood Derby race sponsored by the Chief Kamiakin District was Saturday at the Pullman Christian School. More than 30 cub scouts from 15 local cub scout packs from Latah and Whitman counties participated in the event. The top two finalists from each pack competed in the championship race. There was also an open class for youth and adults. The four championship finalists were, left to right: 1st Place - Asahel Billing - Pack 326 (Moscow), 2nd Place - Liam Orfe - Pack 577 (Garfield), 3rd Place - Keith Evans - Pack 323 (Moscow), 4th place - Danner Holling - Pack 587 (Rosalia). Event coordinators were Jeff Kure and Francis Benjamin.
