St. John
St. John Telephone is saying goodbye to Donna Loomis who is retiring after 35 years. Her last day will be March 31.
Donna, who is also owner of Moments Spa in St. John, plans to spend more time doing classes at the spa. Right now the spa offers yoga, zumba and other fitness classes, along with massages and a complete salon. Loomis and her husband are also building a new house.
The St. John Library plans a Tween party April 1 at 1:30 p.m., with games, crafts and snacks. This event is for fifth graders and up, and is sponsored by Friends of the St. John Library.
An All-Class reunion is being planned June 28 at the St. John Commuity Building starting at 9 a.m. Patty Leifer is asking for help locating some of the class members.
SJE High School will perform “Don’t Say No to the USO,” tonight, Thursday, and Friday. Both performances are at 7 p.m. at the St. John High School gym.
Downtown St. John plans a spring “Girls Night Out” April 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be drawings, food samples and door prizes along with one night sale prices. Admission to the Nile luncheon has been changed to $20.
