Doctors’ Day, a day that we pay tribute to physicians, will be March 30. On behalf of the Whitman Hospital and Medical Center staff, I would like to express appreciation of our physicians and their continuing commitment to excellent care in the communities we serve.

Physicians often provide care at a personal sacrifice in time with their families. They provide 24/7 coverage for the hospital in key areas including primary care, orthopedics, radiology and general surgery. These physicians are available to come into the hospital at a moment’s notice at all hours of the day and night to provide care

We also have visiting specialty physicians that provide onsite clinics and support our core physicians as well as caring for our patients.

In addition to providing care in their clinics and in the hospital, physicians also serve in formal medical staff leadership positions, as well as a number of different committees at the hospital and out in the community. We rely on their expertise in planning new services and in continually improving current services.

Please make a point to thank a physician in honor of their service to you and our community.
