Many attend Bolz rite

Local residents and many Krom family members attended the services for Margaret Krom Bolz at the Country Bible Church Saturday.

Also attending were Martha Hibbard and Esther Gentry from Spokane. Margaret and Martha graduated from LaCrosse High School in the same class. The services were conducted by Margaret’s sons, Christopher and Robin Bolz, with contributions from her grandchildren, recorded piano performances of Margaret’s and ending with a recording of Margaret and her sisters and brother singing “My God and I.” A reception after services was at Hill Ray in Colfax.

Guests at the home of Brian and Angela Broeckel over the weekend were her parents, Guenter and Brigitte Scherwinski of Mountain Home, Idaho. Joining the family from Walla Walla were their daughters Alex and Sami BeDell. They celebrated Alex’s and Sami’s recent birthdays.
