State L&I electrical investigation remains open on Palouse fire

An investigation is underway by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries regarding electrical inspections required on the Brick Wall Bar and Grill in Palouse, which burned to the ground April 8.

“We have an open investigation to see if the electrical work was performed and by whom, and whether the wiring was energized without a request for an inspection,” said Matthew Erlich, spokesman for L&I.
