Benefit events for toddler with cancer

Several benefits for Erik Binks are in the works. The 15-month-old son of Lyle and Cheryl Thompson of LaCrosse was diagnosed with cancer and is now undergoing treatment at Providence Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane.

An account has been set up in Erik’s name at Sterling Bank (Umpqua as of Monday). Deposits can be made at any branch or dropped off with Lois Startin.

A fuel account has also been set up at Four Star in Dusty. Family members have been commuting to be with the toddler at the Spokane hospital.
