Pirates take win on St. John golf course

Pomeroy golfers booked another team win in the April 15 match at St. John with a 132 score led by the 42 medalist score posted by Devon Caruso.

Chase Ward of Asotin finished two strokes back at 44. Tysen Feider and Jacob Tewalt tied for third with 45s.

Other scorers for Pomeroy were Cameron Lueck 46, Seth Hyuers 47, Jacob Schuh 58 and Spencer Carigie 60.

Other scorers for Asotin were Kyle Mason 52 and Cody Johnsen 53.

Host SJE placed third with a 171. Eagle scorers included R.J. Baltierra 55, Zach Williams 56, Wade West 57, Josh Archer 57, Micah Selk 59 and Landon Hallenious 73.

Scorers for Rosalia were Eljay Sanders 56, J.R. Bunker 59 and Chase Sanders 68.

Dawson Strobel led Tekoa with a 47. Other cards for Tekoa included Mike Grebec 72, Ben Zimmerman and Cameron Schell 74.

Teresa Meyers of Pomeroy topped the girls’ side with a 44 and Laura Herrington of SJE was second at 55. Elle Bailey and Nele Lemke of SJE each hit 72.

Tekoa scorers were Sarah Billings 59 and Maddie Gregory 64.
