Colton-Uniontown Fair set for Friday

Horses, dogs, swine, chickens and beef return to the grounds of Colton School Friday for the 2014 Colton-Uniontown Fair.

As a precursor to the Spokane Junior Livestock Show May 7, the Colton event provides a chance for youngsters to compete in animal fitting and showing as well as give demonstrations of FFA, 4H and open class exhibits in the gym.

In addition, the annual FFA plant sale will be open all day in the greenhouse and the Catholic Daughters will run the concession area, complete with hot dogs and hamburgers grilled by their husbands.
