Gar-Pal/T.O. beats Rosalia 10-1

Playing at home in Garfield against Rosalia Tuesday night, the Vikings took down the Spartans 10-1.

Garfield-Palouse/Tekoa-Oakesdale scored five runs in the fourth inning on a two-run single by Sammi Johnson and a double by McKenzie McClanahan.

Also at the plate for the Vikings, Alexa Lindgren got on base four times and hit singles in the first and fourth innings.

On the mound, Chandler Pfaff pitched 12 strikeouts, allowing no earned runs on seven hits and no walks in seven innings.

Mackenzie Reddish pitched all seven for Rosalia as well, allowing six earned runs on 12 hits, two strikeouts and three walks.

Reddish led Rosalia at bat with three hits in the game while Stacy Carrothers had two.
