Crew races returned Saturday to Wawawai on the Snake River with Oregon State University and Gonzaga crews hosted by the WSU Cougars. The crews raced in winds hitting the river canyon with gusts up to 17 mph. In the top photo, a Gonzaga men’s crew returns to the dock after the last race of the morning with the `Go Cougs’ van owned by Jim Hawkes of Pullman in the background.
