The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public nominations for the Eastern Washington Resource Advisory Council that advises the BLM on public land issues. The BLM will accept nominations through May 23.
Nominations are being accepted for five members representing holders of federal grazing permits, commercial energy and mineral development, the timber industry, transportation or rights-of-way, off-highway vehicle use or commercial recreation.
Three members representing nationally or regionally recognized environmental organizations, dispersed recreational activities, archaeological or historic interests, and wild horse and burro groups.
One member representing holders of state, county or local elected office, state agencies responsible for the management of natural resources, academics involved in natural sciences, tribal representatives and the public at large.
