G-P cites honor students

The annual honors dessert at Garfield-Palouse High School April 28 recognized 49 students who had accumulative grade point averages of 3.0 or above.

Robert Lopez, Jr., of Palouse, hardware engineer design manager at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, spoke to the students about setting and achieving goals. He encouraged students to consider the acronym MAGIC: M-motivation, A-assertiveness, G-gifts, I-Integrity, C-courage.
