Colfax High baseball hits doldrums, waits

Colfax baseball coach Mike Parrish has been on the telephone this week in an attempt to book a tune-up game before the first playoff rounds. The Bulldogs have been idle since last Tuesday when they swept the St. George’s team to end a 10-0 run in the NE league race.

Parrish reports he has been calling all over the area in hopes of landing a game late in the week. The aim is to get in game mode competition before the start of playoffs.

Colfax has been booked to play Northwest Christian Monday at Medical Lake in the first round of the NE playoff. That game matches the top two teams in the league...
