Backyard Harvest gets Co-op grant

Backyard Harvest received $566 from the Moscow Food Co-op’s “Dime in Time” community donation program in April.

The program was created to support local, non-profit organizations.

Backyard Harvest’s mission is to provide better access to fresh, locally grown food to low-income individuals in northern Idaho and eastern Washington.

The funds will be used to support their Shop the Market program which allows SNAP recipients to use food stamp dollars.
