Colfax rallies to nip Crusaders for NE title

After trailing Northwest Christian for five and one-half innings, Colfax broke out for two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning Monday to win the district title and a top slot in the state regionals.

The two-run rally in the bottom of the sixth decided a tension-filled game between the two NE foes who topped the NE league race.

Colfax left a total of 12 runners on the bases in the game. The Bulldogs also made a few mistakes and a key error before taking the one-run win.
