S.J.E.L.W.K. track prepares for districts

The St. John-Endicott-Lacrosse-Washtucna-Kahlotus track athletes competed at two meets last week in preparation for the sub-district meet in Walla Walla yesterday.

The top eight places will advance to the district meet from there.

At a District 9 meet last Wednesday in Clarkston, LaCrosse senior Darcy Stamper won the high jump (6’-2”) and the long jump (19’-6”) while St. John freshman Adam Blakeley took third with a 17-7” in the long jump. He also finished fifth in the 400 with a time of 57.59. St. John junior Wilson Lundberg took fourth in the javelin with a throw of 128’-3”.
