Southeast 1B softball playoffs underway

The Southeast 1B girls softball playoffs were set to begin Wednesday with No. 2 seed Colton to play the winner of No. 6 LaCrosse-Washtucna vs. No. 3 Liberty Christian.

No. 4 Rosalia was set to play No. 5 Pomeroy, after which the winner would advance to play No. 1-seed Touchet.

Touchet took the first seed over Colton due to winning the Athletic Director’s draw at the start of the season.

The Wednesday games were to be the start of a double-elimination series which will culminate in Touchet on Saturday, May 24 with the top two teams advancing to state.
