Relay for Life to end at midnight

Relay for Life is going through some changes this year.

The walk to raise funds for cancer research will be from noon to midnight on Saturday, July 12.

Relay organizer Cozy Lueck said they decided to change the time to keep more people at the relay.

“We were losing too many people,” Lueck said. “Other relays are trying it so we decided to try it.”

Lueck said they had investigated alternative sites, McDonald Park and the Palouse Empire Fairgrounds, because the Colfax High School track was going to be reconstructed.
