Tekoa auction nets $10,000 for Gulch

Tekoa’s Slippery Gulch Board of Directors announced that the 2014 fireworks auction recently raised more than $10,000 for the annual fireworks show which is the grand finale to the Slippery Gulch celebration.

The evening began with a revealing of the 2014 royalty float, themed “Walk on the Wildside” and accompanied by this year’s royalty court: Queen Kamryn Lehn, Princess Becky Zimmerman, Princess Maddie Bogenreif and Princess Melissa Groom. The float made its parade debut the next evening at the Spokane Lilac Festival Torchlight Parade.
