St. John senior Elle Bailey was the lone county qualifier for the state B golf finals when she placed sixth in the second SE district finals at Palouse Ridge.
The second round followed the cut in the sub-district round at Canyon Lakes in Kennewick the previous Monday.
Bailey finished with a 249 combo score after booking 125 and 124 in the two SE rounds.
Emily Baumgard of DeSales took the girls side with a 148 combo score. She finished with a 71 after dropping a 24 eagle putt on the par 5 finishing hole.
Other qualifiers on the girls side were Teresa Myers of Pomeroy at 193, Rachel Armijo of TCP at 210, Moira Thornhill of TCP at 245. Elizabeth Ruthven of DeSales at 247, Makenna Richards of TCP 258, Jane Conley of DeSales at 266, and Alicia Haider of DeSales at 269. Maddie Gregory of Rosalia finished 12th with a 296.
Best county finish for the boys was Dawson Strobel of Tekoa who booked a combo total of 186. Sophomore Josh Archer finished 20th for the Eagles with a 232.
Jerod Konen of DeSales topped the boys side with a 155 for both rounds. Isaiah Ojeda of Liberty Christian finished one stroke back at 156. Tyson Feider, Pomeroy, and Scott Kimball, DeSales, tied at 162.
