Colfax girls dominate NE track meet

Fifteen Colfax track team members booked tickets to the state meet next week with top finishes Tuesday in the NE district final at Whitworth. The Bulldog girls again dominated the NE with wins in 11 events. They finished with 176 points, 70 ahead of number-two Reardan.

Sophomore Scout Cai booked a four-win day in the district finals with firsts in both sprint events, the high jump and the pole vault.

Freshman Parker Warwick took a win over Harley Strope of Reardan in their ongoing battle in the 400 and also edged Bulldog Bailey Mackleit in the 300 hurdles.
