Colfax girls take two slot to NE-SE playoffs

Colfax softball team again ran into Crusader power and pitching Tuesday at the Merkel complex to remain in the NE league’s number two spot going into the regional round at the TRAC complex in Yakima Saturday.

Northwest Christian kept the league’s top spot by defeating the Bulldogs 8-4 in the seeding round Tuesday at the final district rounds.

The format for the regional rounds matches the top four NE teams from the NE up against the top four from the SE. Northwest Christian and DeSales are the league leaders from each side.
