The District Nine No. 2-seed Colton High School softball team moves ahead in the playoffs this week to play No. 1-seed Touchet Saturday at 11 a.m.
The winner gets the top seed for the District heading into the state tournament while the loser has to beat the loser’s bracket winner to get to state.
Colton advanced to Saturday’s game against Touchet with a 13-3 win over Liberty Christian May 14 at Colton.
Jenna Moser led the team with a two-run home run while pitchers Zoe Moser (three innings) and Winnie Schultheis (two innings) kept Liberty Christian batters in check.
