Sparts qualify

Rosalia sophomore Eli Richardson pegged a 44-9.5 to win the shotput Tuesday on the 1B side of the NE district meet at Whitworth. Richardson also qualified with second-place finishes in the 100 at 11.17, and the 200 at 24.22.

Dillon Jacobs qualified for state with 37-11.75 for third place in the triple jump. Jacobs placd fourth in tne 110 hurdles with a 18.11, and fouth in the 300 at 47.05.

Brandon Riley placed 7th in the 3200 at 14:01, and Cody Anderson placed 8th at 18:47.87.
