Vikings baseball season ends

The Garfield-Palouse/Tekoa Oakesdale baseball season ended on a squeeze play in the bottom of a seventh inning in Pasco.

Playing Tri-Cities Prep May 13 in the first round of the District Nine 2B tournament, Gar-Pal/T.O. trailed quickly 3-0 in the first inning on unearned runs.

In the top of the fifth, Tri-Cities Prep still led 3-0 when Gar-Pal/T.O. tied the game 3-3, which held going into the bottom of the seventh.
