Sunday, Larry and Di Brink were guests of Don and Carol Keeney, LaCrosse, for dinner. Joining them were the Keeney's son and his family, Jeff and Sharee and children Wyatt and Chyanne of Montauk Lake, Idaho, who were visiting for the weekend. Other guests were Mike Stine, Julie and Steve Bailey and friends Kelly and Kevin and Amber Brink and children Ashley, Kloey, Ellie and Nick of Kennewick. Pastor John Cross joined them for lunch. Kevin and Amber Brink and children stayed overnight at his parents' home. Lucky and Joan Myrick joined them for lunch on Monday before Kevin's family returned home.
Cross Country musical group consisting of Linda Hennigar, Bob Davidson and Jerry Martin provided the musical worship service at Selbu Lutheran Church Sunday morning. Pastor Cross joined in with his guitar on a few songs.
Donna Camp, Spokane Valley, spent May 22 visiting her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Becky Camp, and tending family graves at the cemetery.
Saturday, Kim and Cindy Pitts visited the Priest River Cemetery. On their way home, they picked up grandsons Rafe and Tate Carlson in Spokane for a couple of days on the farm. They took the two boys home Monday.
David and Phyllis Stueckle spent four days at Long Beach last week. On their way home, they stopped in Portland to attend the musical at Cleveland High School. Two of their grandchildren, Emmaly and Joshua Light, are members of the Cleveland choir. The Stueckles arrived home Saturday.
Denise Kendall, Tacoma, and Doreen Riedner, Genesee, spent Memorial weekend at the home of her father, Oscar Broeckel.
Saturday, Karen Broeckel joined Greg and Gwen Nolan, Andrew Nolan, Cliff and Jeanette Nolan, Mark and Carol Rubin, and Jay, Kathy and Bryan Rubin at a barbecue at Boyer Park to celebrate Jason Nolan's 30th birthday.
Decorations remaining at the graves at the Dusty cemetery will be removed Sunday evening or Monday, June 2, and stored on a truck in Dusty for later pick up.
