Koehns will mark 50th

The Rev. Melvin and Dolora (Aeschliman) Koehn will mark their 50th wedding anniversary June 5, 2014.

He will also mark 50 years of pastoral ministry.

Dolora, daughter of Rupert and Goldie Aeschliman of Onecho, was raised here and graduated with the 1960 class at Colfax High School.

She and Mevlin met while attending Grace Bible School in Omaha, Neb.

They were married at the Onecho Bible Church and have served churches in South Dakota, Oklahoma and Iowa.

Their two children and spouses are Jerry and Dawn Koehn of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Connie and Jerry Roghair of Okaton, S.D. A daughter, Sondra, died in 2010.

They have eight grandchildren.

Donna Aeschliman of Colfax is one of Dolora’s sisters.
