Photo exhibit set at Dahmen

Dahmen Barn’s annual photography exhibition will be June 5-29 and include a photo contest. Jack Lien, owner Palouse Country Photo Tours, will be the judge.

Jack has spent more than 30 years studying, observing and learning the behaviors of wildlife and experiencing nature’s wonders while fine-tuning his photographic skills. Jack also works on assignment with several state and federal agencies as a wildlife research photographer.

This year photographers were notified of the demolition of the old loafing shed and were invited to take photos of the skeletal remains before it was removed from the site to accommodate an addition to the barn.

All of the photos will be displayed in this year’s annual Dahmen exhibit.

A reception with photographers present is scheduled for Sunday, June 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
