Farmers visit with legislator

Rep.

Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Spokane) visited the Palouse Tuesday afternoon.

She stopped at the farm home of Randy and Laurie Suess on Dry Creek Road to discuss issues with members of the Whitman County Wheat Growers Association and local farmers.

A group of 24 farmers and local business people joined the representative for lunch and conversation.

According to Suess, the subjects discussed with the legislator were refurbishing the railroads, government regulations, the Farm Bill and Veterans’ Administration issues.
