Osborne links now at library

Shirley Louden Nelson and her husband, Dan, had their picture taken with Robert Osborne, host of the Turner Classic Movies television series, during a book signing this spring at Hollywood's Roosevelt Theatre.

Shirley and Osborne are both Colfax High School graduates and both worked at the former Rose Theater in Colfax.

Osborne, a member of the 1949 class at Colfax, credits his high school job at the Rose with sparking his life-long interest in film.
