Palouse library slates summer reading start

The Summer Reading program at Palouse will begin

Tuesday, June 24, at 9:30 a.m. with a kick-off party, sign ups, and review of the programs. Next Thursday a reptile show will be presented at 1 p.m. at Hayton Greene Park.

Other events scheduled are as follows:

Tuesday, July 1, 9:30 a.m., Science Experiment Day; Tuesday, July 8, 9:30 a.m., Palouse Discovery Science Center; Tuesday, July 15, 9:30 a.m., Dr. Katie Cooper; Monday, July 21, 7 p.m., Zombie Survival Night, Tweens/Teens; Tuesday, July 22, 9:30 a.m., Charlotte Omoto, the workings of a heart; Wednesday, July 23, 7 p.m., Mocktails, Manicure and a Movie, A Girls Night Out, all ages of girls/women; Friday, July 25, 7 p.m., Adult Sci-Fi Trivia Night; Tuesday, July 29, 9:30 a.m., final party.

Library hours are Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m .; Thursdays, 2 to 6 p.m. and Fridays, noon to 6 p.m.
