Army promotes St. John

U.S. Army Major Jon T. St. John was promoted May 1 to Lt. Colonel at a ceremony May 8 at Ft. Bliss, Texas. Lt. Col. St. John serves with the Army’s Program Executive Office Combat Support and Combat Service Support based at Warren, Mich. He is the son of Tim and Vicki St. John, Tekoa. Present at the ceremony were St. John’s parents and also his aunt and uncle, Robert and Lucy Horner, from Houston. His wife Michelle, and five of his six children were present at the base in Warren, Mich., and viewed the ceremony via video conference. St. John left May 11 for a tour in Afghanistan....
