Johnson at nationals

Shaina Johnson, a sophomore-to-be at Eastern Washingon University, competed in the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyo. June 15. Competing in two events, Johnson finished 13th in goat tying, falling one-tenth of a second short of the top 12 final round. In breakaway roping, she won the second round of competition but failed to advance.
