Beeson to retire from post

Palouse Clerk/Treasurer Joyce Beeson announced that she will retire in January after 21 years with the city.

Taking her place will be Mike Bagott, the current Palouse Fire Chief. Bagott will fulfill both duties.

Bagott is a 19-year veteran of the fire department with 20 years’ experience with Bagott Motors in Palouse. In a statement, Bagott said that the auto business will “continue to operate for the foreseeable future.”
