Lentil stage demos slated

PNW Co-op Specialty Foods and Whole Foods Market will sponsor the lentil cooking demonstration stage at the 26th National Lentil Festival Aug. 22-23 in Pullman.

The stage will feature top chefs sharing recipes and dishes and offering tips on lentil preparation.

Friday, Aug. 22, at 6:30 p.m., they will feature the Ask-The-Experts panel. Visitors will have the opportunity to ask chefs, nutrition and agriculture experts about the environmental, economic and nutritional benefits of Palouse-grown legumes.
