Serving Whitman County since 1877
Whitman County Sheriff’s Chaplain Ronald L. McMurray achieved the diplomate credential level from the International Conference of Police Chaplains which has been at the forefront in training and credentialing law enforcement chaplains for more than 40 years.
ICPC’s diplomate credential is the second highest credential given and signifies completion of 500 hours of professional studies, 15 years as a law enforcement chaplain, acquisition of 20 credits and service to ICPC.
This reflects on Chaplain McMurray’s commitment to continuing education and the chaplaincy program, according to Rick Kassel, ICPC credentials chair.
