Something fishy in flood control

Colfax High School senior Kim Hinnenkamp completed work on her fish mural on the side of the flood control wall Saturday.

The fish is located on the wall across from the Rosauers parking lot.

The painting depicts a fish which appears to be crashing through the concrete wall of the channel.

The artist worked from a scaffold to create the fish along most of the wall. The project was undertaken as her senior project.
